Mothers Day Card Filled with Love Tutorial
Use any type of paper and fold in half, cut and fold in half again. You now have two cards. Starting at the top of the paper (top side) find the center and make a cut about one inch long. This will be your collar. Fold both sides down and dab a bit of glue on the corner so they stay down. Take an exacto knife and make a slit only on the front top side of the paper. If you don't have an exacto knife you can use your scissors or anything sharp.
Leave top part of your envelope open and glue bottom and sides together. I used a hot glue gun because it's quicker and I had a lot of them to make. Using your glue, embellish your cards with a string of pearls for a cute necklace. I used my paper punch for the butterfly and flowers to resemble a necklace charm. I found some paper dollies and cut a piece for a pocket hankie and some loose pearls for the buttons. Use real buttons, lace material or round out your collars for a different look. I then slid some goodies down into the center of the envelope and tucked a mini Kit Kat bar into the pocket. That's it! Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy but...super cute project with the Hum Bug crafter.
