BEE HIVE Miniature

A Valentine Treat My Husband Made for Me!

My Valentines tray filled with heart candy. Jewelry had been strategically placed through out the candy maze. Lingerie spilled out the sides and candles were glowing. A very special gift this year because my husband came up with this idea and made it just for me.
Each mason jar has a votive candle inside.

Jar Tutorial

Clean jars with soap and water. Dry. Using heart stickers place them around the jar. Choose your color of spray paint and spray the outside of the jar. Let dry. Spray again and let dry overnight. Carefully peel stickers off and ta-da. Place jar rings back on and add a votive candle.  Make your own card using dollies. Bend in half and cut half a heart, open it up and glue it to a pretty piece of paper or card stock. Add a ribbon to your card. Use a colored pen to wish your Valentine a happy day and write a nice poem inside. Your Valentine will be keeping this card so make it big!

Snow Angels

For this project all you need is some pearls, white cloth stem or floral wire, ribbon (I used 1/8") , paper clips, and a few minutes.
The white wire that I used was very thin a 26 or 28 gauge I'm not sure because I tossed out the label.
Start with your wire and add a pearl to it. Make a loop and twist it back down, cut and bring your pearl back up and over the wire to cover it. Place the pearl onto your paper clip and thread your wire (see pic) through the center of the clip and back up to the top. Wrap it a few times to secure the bead.

Now using you ribbon from the front place one end into the "wings" of each side. Take the ribbon from the back and slide the ribbon down the sides of the bead toward the front of your project. Take the ends of the ribbons back through the wings and make a knot in the back of the angel. Your white wire should now be covered and you angel should hang straight and not forward. That's it, congrats you just made an angel.
